We're now eight days into the new Gregorian calendar year, and I've yet to make a point of this on any of my social media. Like, at all. I made a post about it on my personal Facebook page, but I've remained fairly mute on the rest of my socials. So here I am, hovering over my keyboard thinking of something profound to write. And I am seriously stumped.
2019 is going to be a year like every other year has been: full of ups and downs, and ideas to try and push my passions further; personal and professional growth and development, through trying new things and not being afraid to push for feedback; honing my craft more and more, and checking my progress though personal reflection as well as professional. Every year has had similar aspirations, but in previous years, I measured success in monetary income as well as social media following. And if they hadn't reached my (usually unrealistic) goals, then I declared it a failure. However, now I am much more realistic in my approaches, and tend to have more of a "Just Get It Fucking Finished" attitude, which worked for 2018, so I'm going to keep on that track for this year too. I'm also going to add a "Just Fucking Do It" to that list too, because a combo of both of them will help push me just that bit further.
This month is going to be fairly quiet as a whole, as I'm going to try and plot what I can do for my business throughout the year. Having some form of rough plan in regards to my business is going to help me massively going forward, rather than spending many hours a day on something that could just take me a few hours a week. Better get myself a decent calendar..
So now, after all that Great Wall of Text, here's a couple of photos, to mark my progress from the start of 2018 to the end of it.
This will be all from me for now, as the rest of the day/week is going to be spent drawing up plans for Tabitha Dreadful Photography in 2019. Keep updated by subscribing to my blog (I promise I won't spam with marketing, because I do not have time for that!), and commenting what you would like to see from me.
Stay safe, guys, and have a great 2019!
